HELL’S KITCHEN
Residing alongside the demons, fiends and beasts of Hell’s Kitchen, New York City, we find our two reluctant heroines, Ada and Trini, ready for another wild night out in their neighborhood. What was to be a routine pursuit of fun, drugs and violence for the two girls, escalates into an all out battle with the Mayor to keep Hell’s Kitchen, and their lifestyle, intact.
With a surreal city and a light-hearted approach to the characters, we’re introduced to a town that is truly living and breathing, all the way down to its buildings and vehicles. The story touches on the subjects of gentrification and abandonment but never veers away from being fun and quirky. The main draw of the comic book is the stylistic and somewhat comedic violence, inventive backdrop, and original demonic characters.
